IFON To apply for IIFON membership and to connect to the exchange, all prospective members are required to follow the steps below:
- You may wish to ask your legal team to review the IIFON MOU in advance of application. If there are any questions about the MoU these can be sent to the IIFON Staff
- Once your application is endorsed, you have three months to achieve working operational peering with IIFON route server or collector router and at least one of the existing IIFON members.
- Applicants ordering circuits terminating at IIFON, or making other commitments dependent upon their IIFON connection, prior to their membership being formally approved and their fees being paid, do so at their own risk.
- Throughout this procedure, “working days” means Mondays to Fridays, excluding those days that are Bank Holidays at the location of IIFON’s registered office. The exception to this is the “2 working days” that a member has to respond to a peering request is governed by the working days at the recipients NOC.
